I have been part of Prairie Creek since 2010. My wife, Carrie, and I built our home and have loved living here ever since. I got involved in representing our neighborhood early on as I was asked by the original 15 Prairie Creek homes to be our liaison with our developer, Gorman and Company. I worked to keep them focus on the quality of our neighborhood through the completion of phase 1, and then phase 2. After phase 2 was complete Gorman released responsibility to our neighborhood and per their covenant with the Village required us to start an HOA. I worked with the whole neighborhood to establish our Prairie Creek HOA and board. I think our HOA has done a great job of protecting our investments and keeping our neighborhood looking beautiful and staying safe. I continue to serve on the board because I want to make sure that Prairie Creek continues to be the best place to live.

Being on the HOA board provides an opportunity to preserve our collective investment and improve the quality of the neighborhood. We are very fortunate to have diversity of thought with our current board members which I believe is so important in helping us make better informed decisions. Our board members are also very transparent regarding issues discussed and decisions made. We discuss issues at length and strive to reach consensus on our decisions. Our board members are also committed to express and forward concerns raised by our neighbors to the Windsor Village Board members and following-up on issues brought to their attention.

Treasurer
Dan Selz
I chose to join and serve on the Prairie Creek HOA Board in January of 2024 after building our home here in 2015. My goal as a board member is to help guide policy, planning, and ensure our association supports the long‑term value of our neighborhood.
As your HOA Treasurer, I’m committed to keeping our community’s finances organized, transparent, and aligned with the needs of our board and its members. I enjoy helping to ensure our budget supports a safe, well‑maintained, and welcoming place to live. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve and support our neighborhood.

Secretary

Serving on our HOA board is a meaningful way to give back to the neighborhood, help maintain property values, and ensure the neighborhood remains a welcoming place for all residents. Having lived in the neighborhood since 2016, I have developed a strong appreciation for the community and value the opportunity to contribute to its continued growth, improvement, and long-term success.

Director
Kristy Baker
I’m part of the Prairie Creek HOA, so I can help neighbors know what is going on. Also so that I can help maintain and improve the neighborhood. Being part of the HOA allows me to have a voice in rules of our neighborhood.

Director
Jon Yaskal
I joined the HOA shortly after moving into the neighborhood in 2020. I am a firm believer in an HOA not being overly intrusive, while maintaining standards conducive to a great neighborhood. I value open discussion and input from neighbors. My goal has been to formalize the board’s procedures while expanding our transparency.
