Prairie Creek HOA Meeting Minutes for April 7, 2019

Present: Kelly Vant, Heather Halvensleben, John Davenport, Steve Strebel, Dale Nolden, Molly Ross,

Absent: Ryan Cox

1. Review of last meetings minutes

a. Moving forward they will be circulated by email for approval and then released for public consumption

2. Old Business

a. Insurance

i. Status of Quote

1. Steve is starting to fill out paperwork

2. Our official mailing address will be the president’s address

3. Our official name will be Prairie Creek Homeowner’s Association of Windsor Wisconsin

4. Assets

a. Neighborhood sign on Windsor Ridge Road

ii. Review of Wolf Hollow information

b. Website for the HOA

i. prairiecreekHOA.com and prairiecreekHOA.net are both available

1. Hosting a website through SquareSpace is $144 (personal); $216 (business); $312 (online store) annually

a. Personal – no payment portal and no email

b. Business – $100 google ad credit; marketing; e-commerce capable (sell things and accept payments; has a 3% convenience charge);

i. email (annually $50 after 1st year)

c. Online store – no convenience fees; inventory, coupons, etc.; integrated accounting; more secure checkout than business account; customer accounts

2. The HOA Board has decided to go with an online store (unanimous)

3. prairiecreekHOA.com has been chosen (unamimous)

c. Drainage maintenance

i. Document for review on Gorman website

d. Survey for Sheds and Pools

3. Topics for 1st public meeting (May 13 at 6pm-8pm Windsor Elementary)

b. Drainage maintenance

i. Document made in 2006; Gorman has not done the steps as outlined in the document

1. Steve will contact the Village to see if any new documents have been filed regarding the Storm water maintenance

c. Sheds and Pools

i. Sheds and pools are currently PROHIBITED in the Prairie Creek

ii. HOA Board will release a suggestion for the language change regarding sheds to be discussed in the May 13 meeting

iii. A survey may be needed to get a grasp on the need for changes for this

4. New Business

a. Nextdoor posts can be answered by anyone

b. Going to use Park Bank for our HOA

c. Request for pergola

i. Meisenbach residence over the deck in the back of the house

1. Recommend to request more information about the building materials when available from homeowner

d. Request for cleaning up of trees along bike path on village’s side on Snowy Ridge Trail

i. Steve to contact village to discuss options
